We have never had a Thanksgiving book before. In fact, I must shamefully admit that the time between Halloween and Christmas goes largely uncelebrated. Lasagna Cups

Lasagna is by far one of the world’s best foods. It doesn’t get much better than the multiple layers of multiple cheeses sandwiched together by pasta and flavored with garlic. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The problem with lasagna, though, is the time that it takes to cook it. I don’t want to wait that long for its cheesy goodness, and my girls certainly do not want to wait that long.  (more…)

Witch Brooms Inspired by Room on the Broom

Last year, Maddie was enthralled with the movie version of Room on the Broom. I can’t remember how we found it, but it was on repeat on our Amazon Prime account for quite a number of months. She loved the witch and all of her furry, feathered, and slimy companions. I suspected she enjoyed the wonderful narration, or at least that was my favorite part. Now that she’s older and I have learned more about her personality, I am sure that it was its magical aspects and the inclusion of a dragon that kept her interest. (more…)
